7aam Arivu by A.R.Murugadoss

Story: A massive story with mixture of science and Tamil heritage element. They resurrected the Bodhidharman character and many other Tamil related heritage elements which relates to scientific explanation. It has a lot of revolutionary ideas and concepts relating to Tamilians all over the world. Good romance, small humour, massive action and drama, a full-fledged entertainer to every audience.

Casting: Suriya as the lead man(plays Bodhidharman and Arvind). No one would have done the character better than Suriya. He performed the martial art skills very professionally and of course the way he brought up bodhidharman character was superb. Subsequently, playing the role of Arvind the circus performer and also the descendant of bodhidharman was just a usual performance for first half but it gets better when action starts in him in second half. And of course this time Suriya came with his 8packs abs!! Shruthi hassan the lead lady plays a genetic engineering student in this movie.Awesome and mind-blowing performance for first movie. Her beauty and intellectualism will be a added value for the movie. And her enthusiasm in proving her point in Tamil ancient science worth appreciated. She will gain everyone's attention in this movie. The baddie in the movie is Johnny Tri Nguyen plays Dong Lee who played a real bad-ass  villain who kills anyone comes in his way. He was a perfect choice of villain since his martial art skills were vital in this movie. His hypnotism acts were higlight of the movie There are a few supporting roles such as Ashwin (SI Ganesh in Mankatha), Avinash and Abhinaya.

Screenplay: Awesome screenplay. The transitions for the plotting were really good,  pre-historic flashback shown first followed by current situation and then 93 days before incident and finally normally track. The scenes were made in very well planned manner. The action sequence of course the best in the movie since good martial art skills were used in the movie. The director deserves an appreciation since he can fit in good romance in between the movie since the movie were more into serious genre. A lot of good science and political elements were displayed well, as in genetic memory concept, bio-war and hypnotism. songs were well visualized, not so grand and well choreographed. A lot of scenes may boost up your enthusiasm since it was revolutionary towards injustice towards Tamilians and how are they suffering. Yet there is some editing weakness made the movie lengthy. The introduction scene is the best part of the movie, so dont miss it.

Music: The music was composed by Harris Jeyaraj. The songs were usual Harris beat since songs were similar to some of his previous songs. Yet Innum Yenna Thozha song has a deep meaning which relates to the story very much. Yelle Lama and Oh ringga ringga worth watching as well

Plus Point: Storyline, Suriya and Shruthi's acting, Stunt choreography, Dialogues and most technical aspects

Minus Point: Lengthy

Verdict: One of the best movie of the year. A revolutionary message to all Tamilians. Worth watching it at cinema.Enjoy!!
